About this coffee
Jorge Elías Rojas runs his farm La Roca in Planadas, Tolima - a region known for its exceptionally complex coffees. Jorge took over responsibility for the family farm at the age of 12 after the death of his father. Today he stands for quality, innovation and a sense of community.
He grows varieties such as Caturra, Geisha and Pacamara at an altitude of around 1,857 meters. He processes his coffees with great care - including experimental methods such as anaerobic fermentation or honey processes. The result: clean, sweet and complex cups with character.
Jorge's work has won several international awards - including victory at the World Coffee Challenge in Madrid for the best honey-processed Arabica.
In addition to the farm, he is an active member of ASOPEP, a cooperative for small organic producers in Tolima. There he shares his knowledge, promotes sustainable cultivation and strengthens the community.
A coffee with history, depth and soul - directly from a producer who stands for quality and responsibility.
